Dockland, Hamburg

This ship-like building is located on a filled-in quay between the fishing harbour and the harbour entrance. Viewed from the water, it serves as a landmark, while seen from the land it functions as a large viewing deck for harbour-lovers. We were responsible for the harmonic appearance of the exposed concrete base and the concrete surfaces in the foyers. The aim was to restore the "exposed concrete look" of the surfaces, which had been entirely plastered over with concrete, by painting them.
