District and regional court, Frankfurt/Oder
This building, designed by the Berlin architects Bumiller + Junkers, has a monolithic outer shell of exposed concrete with a thickness of up to 65 cm, which must meet structural and physical construction requirements.
The facade consisted of exposed concrete, without visible signs of colour application. To achieve this "untreated" effect, a very careful lasuring touch-up was required to hide the filling work done to eliminate casting faults.
